Score catalog

This section constitutes the first attempt to catalog all scores published in Brazil, from the nineteenth century to the present day. It is a broad research effort based on a wide range of sources and collections. The inclusion of a work in this table, therefore, does not necessarily mean that IPB holds the corresponding score.

To compile this catalog, we consulted the scores themselves, hundreds of catalogs issued by historical music publishers, advertisements published in period newspapers, public and private collections, specialized bibliographies, and other documentary sources.

Click the heading of each column to sort the results in ascending or descending order. Use the search field to look for titles, composers, publishers, and other keywords.
