January 11. Launch of the CDs Ernesto Nazareth Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. Maria Teresa Madeira performed Fon-Fon!, Digo, Turbilhão de Beijos, and Sagaz. Ênio Antunes (violin) and Maria Teresa Madeira (piano) performed Nove de Julho, Escorregando, and Confidências. Cristiano Alves (clarinet), Maria Teresa Madeira (piano), and Marcelinho Moreira (tambourine) performed Ameno Resedá, Brejeiro, Apanhei-te Cavaquinho, and Maple Leaf Rag, the latter by Scott Joplin. As an encore, Atraente, by Chiquinha Gonzaga, was performed. Recital part of the 25th CIVEBRA (International Summer Course of the Brasília School of Music). March 20. March 20th. Recital commemorating the 140th anniversary of Ernesto Nazareth's birth with the participation of students and teachers from CBM. Maria Teresa Madeira performed Digo and Fon-Fon!. Brazilian Conservatory of Music - Lorenzo Fernandes Auditorium, Rio de Janeiro.

April 26. Broadcast of the program "Music and Musicians of Brazil" No. 449, with the theme "Ragtimes and Choros", on Rádio MEC. Alexandre Dias performed works by Sinhô (Pianola), Scott Joplin (Maple Leaf Rag, The Entertainer, The Easy Winners, Gladiolus Rag, Magnetic Rag) and Zequinha Abreu (Os Pintinhos no Terreiro). In the second part of the program, recordings of Maria Teresa Madeira were played, with works by Ernesto Nazareth (Digo, Sagaz, Tenebroso and Fon-Fon!, the latter with Márcio Bahia (tambourine)), Jacob do Bandolim (O vôo da mosca, with Paulo Sérgio Santos (clarinet), and Caio Santos (guitar)), Hermeto Pascoal (Chorinho pra ele, with Rildo Hora (harmonica)). November 6. Alda de Mattos solos the 1st movement of Villa-Lobos' Bachianas Brasileiras No. 3 with the Claudio Santoro National Theater Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sílvio Barbato.
