June 1. PRA-3 Rádio Clube do Brasil is inaugurated. In 1937, it changes its name to Rádio Cajuti (Tijuca backwards) because it was sold to the Tijuca Tennis Club, which transferred the studios to the club's headquarters. The club sold it to the Diário da Noite of Rio de Janeiro in 1948, which was interested in the television channel concession that the station held in Rio, changing its name again to Rádio Mundial.

July 6. TMRJ. July 6. "Homage to the memory of Alberto Nepomuceno." The trio formed by Barrozo Netto (piano), Humberto Milano (violin), and Alfredo Gomes (cello) performs the Alberto Nepomuceno Trio. Also participating was a choir of female voices accompanied by Rossini de Freitas (piano), and a small orchestra conducted by Francisco Braga. October 31. 7th "Children's Afternoon" Concert, benefiting the Luigi Chiaffarelli Prize, with the participation of students of cellist Luiz Figuéras, and the participation of pianists Inah Pamplona (who provided piano accompaniment) and Souza Lima (who likely performed solo piano pieces not announced in the program). Vincent D'Indy, Alexandre-Georges, Marcel Bertrand, Henry Defosse, Patrice Devanchy, and George-Ritas participated, accompanying their own works on the piano. Also participating in the recital were Bazelaire, Boynet, Bureau-Berthelot, Guttenger, Germaine Manent, Catherine Mastio, Marty-Zipelius, L. Peretti, Cécile Winsbach, Ibos, Gabriel Paulet, René Schidenhelm, the choirs La Française and L'Héroique, and a 15-piece orchestra conducted by Maxime Thomas. Mme.
