February. The Beethoven Club is founded in Rio de Janeiro, on the initiative of violinist, conductor, and critic Roberto Kinsman Benjamin, with its headquarters at Rua do Catete, 102. A Music Academy, also directed by Roberto Benjamin, also operated at Rua dos Arcos, 47, Rio de Janeiro.

February (probably the 5th). Recital by Arthur Camillo. Viriato Corrêa (flute) and Bernardelli also participated. Theatro Gymnasio Dramático, Rio de Janeiro.

December 6th. Godofredo de Leão Valloso performs Schumann's Arabesca; Massenet's Elegy; 2 Gypsy Dances; and a Chopin Mazurka. Beethoven Club, Rio de Janeiro.
